before children have the opportunity to create an account, engage in treatment exercises and/or conduct a consultation with a Hopscotch provider, their parent or legal guardian must sign a parental consent form.

the parent/legal guardian of the child receiving services through Hopscotch will have their own separate interface, where they can review the child’s progress, communicate with any providers that the child is seeing and view the child’s activity on the Site.

the child is only required to submit information that is directly relevant and can at any point, decide to not engage in an exercise if they are not interested.

Hopscotch will only keep the information gathered from children for the time necessary to perform the services, unless otherwise required by law.
